Brexit, is it all bad?

Mark Sheridan who has extensive senior management experience in UK , European and Global business operations will share his perspective on Brexit.
Recently retired as Global Chief Operating Officer for Zurich Global Life Insurance, Mark Sheridan is widely recognised as a leader in the insurance, technology and business world. Tracing a long career with Zurich through UK, European and Global IT Mark has provided guidance, leadership and direction to one of the world’s largest Life Insurance businesses taking it from a disparate business consisting of multiple, geographically isolated acquisitions to a holistic, global powerhouse, Mark was involved from the earliest concepts through to the final realisation of Zurich’s vision. Mark closed out his career at Zurich in the position of Global Chief Operating Officer thus realising the unique position of having to run and operate the business and systems landscape he had championed and delivered as CIO.
Zurich’s business took Mark across the globe and at the culmination of his career he was responsible for Life Insurance businesses across the Pacific, Australasia, Europe and North and South America dealing with the cultural, legislative and industry issues that such a diverse footprint involved.
In retirement Mark has turned his focus to his local community engaging with business growth charities, local government and recently appointed as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Gloucestershire.
A keen sportsman, Mark is an active member of Gloucester Rugby Club, an amateur referee and ran the London Marathon in 2009.
Married with two daughters, Mark spends his spare time between Gloucestershire and Barcelona.
